The ravine in our back yard continues to be a magical place. Evy was super needy and crabby, so I bundled them up and said “Let’s go!” The season changes in the ravine are pretty incredible, and now most of the mud was covered in ice. They literally just stomped on it. Over and over for the crinkly sound it made. And then we climbed back up the hill and back into the house to warm up.
We have a really nice yard we get to play in, and we’ve never really wanted to live in the country — but there is something innate inside of me that desires space in the outdoors. This ravine completely and utterly feels like it’s own space, right in our backyard. It’s perfect. I can’t wait to see what it’s like with lots of snow!
