I don’t think I can adequately describe how close our kids stick together. Maybe I assume they’d play together but mostly kinda do their own thing. HA. No. In fact unless Matt and I divide and conquer the kids, they always electivly choose to be to together.
Case in point. They are frequently in each other’s spaces. This time, it was mutual. They would crawl over and up and around — all limited to this tiny chair, but they just cuddled. Every few seconds Evy would tuck her head to Ethan and just lay there, and he’d pat her back. And they they’d wiggle and talk, and then stop, tuck in, cuddle, pat. She’d point to his eyes and nose and ears. And pull down his hoodie. And try to put it back up. This was a time that they were gentle with each other. Repeatedly. For a long period of time. Soul food my kids.
So there you have it. Kids have no boundaries. But in this case it’s good.
