companions. sleep over

We lived in the same house for 16 hours. We slept only about 6 of those hours (or less). We broke up toddler fights and managed bedtime routines with four kids (well, three of them have bedtime. Oh Levi. You’re still so little!). With the house quiet, we got into comfy clothes by the fireplace and talked. And talked. We are so safe with these people. Our friends who love us when we mess up or question life or have breakdowns. They laugh at our stories and are so tender with our souls. Any friendship this sweet is worth fighting for. So the little hassles that occurs with a sleep over with two toddler and two infants and four adults…..is totally and utterly worth it.
